Laredo
rachellaredo.jpg

Laredo ~ my first horse after I moved to Yuma.
I bought him from Joe Rider, Rider Ranch when he was a two-year old. He is of the Joe Hancock line and is typical – big and gentle (17 hands) - and now acts all of three – even though he’s seven. His sire was Kurt Russell’s (Wyatt Earp) mount in "Tombstone." Of the fourteen I have, he’s my favorite.

Fawnskin, California - December 2003

As you can see above, it was a white Christmas
at my Mom’s. She lives in Fawnskin, California
which is on the north side of Big Bear Valley
in San Bernardino County. It was a nice
Christmas.
